Completing The Risk Assessment

  1. Get consensus among all the relevant parties before completing the risk assessment (manager, relevant personnel in the area, risk assessors etc).
  2. Use a simple action tracking tool (e.g. non-conformance, corrective and preventive action) to ensure that all required controls are implemented as part of the risk assessment process in a timely manner.
  3. Communicate the information from the risk assessment to all relevant parties (don’t forget visitors and contractors), and ensure that people are trained in relation to the controls that need to be managed.
  4. Set a review date for the risk assessment to ensure the information is kept up-to-date.
